Mr Chai Woon Chew

Mr Chai Woon Chew was appointed as a director of the Company on 31 December 2021 and assumed the Chairman of the Board on 31 October 2024. He also chairs the Audit Committee, Nominating Committee and Remuneration Committee.  

Mr Chai is a partner of  Michael Chai & Co., Advocates & Solicitors, Kuala Lumpur. He is currently a Non-independent and Non-executive Director of KKB Engineering Berhad, a public company listed in Malaysia. He also sits on the Board of Parkson Retail Asia Limited as an Independent Non-executive Director, a public company listed in Singapore.  

Mr Chai holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Buckingham and  a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom. He is a qualified Barrister-at-Law from Lincoln’s Inn, England. He was called to the Bars in Malaysia and Singapore.
